DAY 01: SAT - Upon arrival in Athens, you will be met and assisted by our representative then transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Athens.
DAY 02: SUN - After breakfast, explore Athens visiting the Acropolis site and museum. Observe what makes Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides take you to see the city center, Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, and the National Library. Drive down Herod Atticus Street to see the Evzones in their picturesque uniform and the Presidential Palace. See Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and make a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. On the Acropolis, visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and the Parthenon. Conclude your visit at the New Acropolis Museum. Balance of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Athens. (B)
DAY 03: MON - After breakfast, depart along the Coastal Road towards Corinth Canal. Drive onwards and visit the Theatre of Epidauros, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Visit Nafplion then drive to Mycenae and visit the archeological site and tomb of Agamemnon. Continue through Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Dinner and overnight in Olympia. (B/D)
DAY 04: TUE - After breakfast, visit the archeological site and sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium, and the Achaeological Museum. Drive on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia and see the magnificent bridge which crosses the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpactos and Itea. Dinner and overnight in Delphi. (B/D)
DAY 05: WED - After breakfast, visit the archaeological site and the museum of Delphi. Continue to Kalambaka, a small town situation at the foot of the astonishing gigantic rock of Meteora. Dinner and overnight in Meteora. (B/D)
DAY 06: THU - After breakfast, visit Meteora, situated among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks, which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless monasteries where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine Art. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae. Overnight in Athens. (B)
DAY 07: FRI - After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight. (B)
